We went to Tallahassee for a total of 24 hours to see Lowell's family. The real reason for the trip was so that Lowell could be in a commercial with his mom for the hospital that she works for. He was hit by a car when he was 6, was unconscious for 3 days, a ventilator for 3 weeks, and had ruptured spleen, cracked skull and various other injuries. He was treated at the hospital where his mom is the head of the trauma department in Tallahassee.
It was a whirlwind in Tallahassee. Lowell's grandparents drove down from Alabama, and we were able to see his brother Neza. The cousins had a great time playing together at Aunt Michelle's new house. Too bad Aunt Michelle and Uncle Michael were out of town on a vacation!
