Time Flies When You Are Having Fun!

Almost a month has gone by... WOW! We had a great start to April, it being Spring Break and all. We spent time with my Grandma on her birthday, and even visited the beach. The water was cold, but the kids went in anyway! The wind was blowing like 40mph, and it made great waves in the Gulf. Thanks Great Grandpa Bud, for telling us a great beach spot!

Easter was a day of fun, as it was the first holiday that the kids (unprompted) knew what to expect, and they were filled with excitement!! I'll never forget Kendra's 2nd birthday with us (she turned 6) when she squealed in delight, I get to have a birthday, again? I guess she thought that her first birthday with us was a once in a lifetime event, never dreaming it happens once a year.

Because they knew what to expect, and were so excited, we couldn't get to Grandma's fast enough for the Egg Hunt!

We had a family photo taken (Thanks Lowell, they turned out great!) Now, finally, we have a photo with all of us, Amanda and her family, Me and my family, and mom and dad.

Last week, my Aunt and Uncle came to town, and bought my boys lightsabers. Jerome had been saving his money and was super close to the $20 I told him he had to save before we drove to the store to buy one, and Uncle Terry was the hero and gave them to the kids as gifts. Thank you Uncle Terry! Jerome now had enough money to get a Star Wars game!!
